We're currently running a survey to collect patient feedback on a new prostate patient information video. We aim to measure the impact of the video on patient preparedness for radiotherapy and make improvements based on what patients tell us.
If you’re starting radiotherapy for prostate cancer at one of our centres soon, you might be asked to complete a short anonymous survey when you come for your pre-treatment appointment about whether you have seen our information videos and whether they helped you feel prepared for treatment. This is part of ongoing work to improve patient information and radiotherapy services for all patients in the North East and North Cumbria.
We'll share the results and feedback in the next couple of months.
