Our network work programme for 2025-2026 has recently been agreed by our Network Oversight Group.
Our priorities this year are:
See our plan on a page and find out more about our projects below.
We are looking at ways to improve experiences for patients coming for radiotherapy.
Some of this is about improving information available to patients so patients are better prepared when they come for treatment.
Research and trials help to increase survival, reduce side effects and introduce new treatments.
We want more people to have access to clinical trials for common cancers as well as referrals to clinical trial centres where appropriate.
Our radiotherapy workforce are crucial in ensuring patients have access to the best treatments.
We are supporting our workforce through career promotion projects and activities to raise awareness of radiotherapy careers, so patients can continue to benefit from the most advanced treatments in our network.
We are always looking at ways to improve the quality of services we offer to patients. We will be using patient feedback to influence our projects locally.
We are aligning all radiotherapy protocols across the network to ensure patients receive the same standard of care wherever they have their treatment.
We want to ensure that patients in our network have access to the most cutting-edge technology and treatments.
We are looking at new ways of working with our colleagues across the network with new software applications and equipment.
